Massively, they understand that our craft is like no other and that our intense, especially curated techniques are not ones that you can mirror yourself at home. Their appreciation towards us as colour technicians has maximized and turned them into more than ever loyal clients to our salon!

Q3. What are the main cut and colour trends that clients are looking for in Summer 2021?

After the last 3 lockdowns, I believe it has made our clients desire lower maintainable hair which looks just as fabulous 3 months down the line as it does the day, they leave our salon. At Daniel Galvin Jr, we believe that introducing face contouring, sunkissed and natural enhancement will be a timeless look which will be here to stay. Undone, loose and beachy hair styles that don’t outgrow their shape will be chased after, this will massively compliment their hair colour, lifestyle and complexion.

Q4. As salons reopen, hygiene is the buzzword on everyone’s lips. How are you going the distance to ensure safety for your staff and clients alike?

We have all safety measures put in place, such as all the correct PPE, masks, visors, hand sanitisers at all stations, we have a temperature gauge for every person who enters the salon followed by an effective track and trace system. We have an external cleaning company who deep clean the salon and all the air conditioning units. In addition to this, between every section and backwash we have dividers to maximize our social distancing rules. We also like to ensure our clients and staff are running on time with appointments to make sure we do not exceed the maximum amount of people in our premises.
